london calling

“There’s no fun in doing nothing when you have nothing to do. Wasting time is merely an occupation then, and a most exhausting one.” – Jerome K. Jerome

i know i usually don’t write two posts in one day, but after my short, and somewhat irritated note this morning, i felt i needed to let you know the day turned out more than okay. been extremely busy, and for every one thing i finish, i come up with two more that need to be done. which is exactly the way i like it.

i’ve always been a firm believer in the more you have to do, the more you will get done. but for all different reasons, as i’ve told you, i’ve not really been living up to that in recent years.

it’s funny, the less you really have to do, the less you want to do, the less you do, the more exhausted you feel… but boy, when you finally get yourself out of that rut, and back in the game, you become some sort of forrest gump, you just can’t stop running.

on my way to london in a few weeks. can’t for the life of me figure out why i’m not staying longer, as i’ve somehow managed to get myself more or less fully booked already.

not only am i attending a course, i also managed to track down the torturer, and book an appointment with him. [yay!] i honestly do not know if this feeling in my stomach is utter delight over finding him, or pure and simple panic over what he’ll do to my poor back. furthermore, by mere coincidence, i just booked an appointment with the hairdresser’s as well… i mean, since i’m there, let’s just go for broke.
